Meet the Happy Tail Team

A Happy Tail Pet Service has been successful because of Keri's dedication to the needs of her client's pets. To continue to provide exceptional service, Keri has chosen a team of individuals to assist in caring for the wonderful pets of Kailua, Kaneohe, and Waimanalo. The Happy Tail Team is intentionally small in order specialize in individualized care for your pets. The goal is to have one Happy Tail team member dedicated to your pet's needs. However, the other teammates are available as back up if your Happy Tail care giver is unable to work on a particular day. All Happy Tail team members are licensed, bonded, and insured under the Pet Sitters Association, LLC.

Keri

As the owner of A Happy Tail Pet Service, Keri will always be your main contact. You are hiring her experience and dedication to your pet's wellbeing. Born and raised in Kailua, Keri has had a life-long love for animals. She has continued her passion for animals throughout her career. Keri has been doing in-home pet sitting since she was 15 years old. She was a Veterinarian Technician for 12 years, where she gained vast experience in caring for animals' medical needs. Keri also ran a horse ranch in Waimanalo for nine years increasing her people (and animal) management experiences. In addition to caring for animals, Keri loves exercising (she's a red belt in Martial Arts), outdoor adventures, tennis, and of course, being with her family. Keri is married to Rob, and they have two children.

Rob & Keri
Rob

Rob and Keri make an outstanding team – whether it's as care-givers to their clients' pets or in raising their two children. As co-owner of A Happy Tail Pet Service, Rob has been working side-by-side with Keri in pet sitting and dog walking for the past four years. He also helped Keri to manage the ranch, assuming many responsibilities in caring for the animals on a daily basis. Rob's dedication to helping others is most apparent in his career as a city & county lifeguard, a passion that he has been pursuing for over a decade! When he's not saving lives and caring for pets, Rob enjoys surfing, golfing, and spending time with his family.

She grew up in a very pet-friendly home with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, birds, fish and even a mongoose. Kathy

Life without animals is not an option for Kathy. A life-long Kailua resident, dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages have always been part of her family. But, dogs are not the only animals... she is the proud owner of a 14 year old Morgan horse and along the way has taken care of other horses, cows, guinea pigs, birds, rabbits and even "Rocky", the rooster! Kathy is also a proud mom of two college age children as well as her 2 dogs.

Nora
Nora

From early in her life she was taught to love and care for animals because they do have feelings. As an adult she became a kindergarten teacher and taught for seventeen years in a school in east Honolulu. Few years back she moved to the Big Island where she volunteered in various animal shelters and also had her own pet sitting business (pets in Big Island come in many shapes and sizes, including horses, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, fish, frogs, etc) She recently moved back to O'ahu where she continues doing what she likes most: working with animals. With three grown daughters, now she has the time to enjoy paddling in Kailua and hiking.

My love of all animals came at an early age being an only child raised with dogs, birds, mice, Guinea pigs and fish in Kailua. I am fortunate to have had 7 years experience at the MWR Pet Kennels caring, exercising, cleaning and feeding the dogs and cats. I am dedicated to my work and my blessings at home, my young daughter, my cat and my fish.
